I was recently able to test out a product courtesy of Influenster that came in the coveted Mom Voxbox. (If you haven’t tried Influenster yet, you can do so here). The product (among many) was imPRESS Press on Manicure and my color was a very pretty brownish-red.

Here’s the hype according to Influenster:

My Thoughts: I love the simplicity of these nails. They literally are just stick and go. However, that’s also the problem. They claim that they can last up to a week but mine lasted one day. I would have obviously liked it had they lasted the full week as I’m sure some testers did. That being said, they’re a good choice for a one-day event or a special occasion where you don’t feel like shelling out money to have professionally done nails.

I also like the variety of colors and patterns they have. They can be found at most drugstores and literally anybody can use them. My recommendation for applying them is to make sure you’re applying them to clean and dry nails for better adhesion. And if you want them to last longer, try a little nail glue. I didn’t do this as I didn’t have the time but it may work to help extend the life of these nails.

Overall, these nails aren’t a bad product. They’re cheap, easy to get, and perfect for those special occasions. But I think I’ll stick with my regular acrylics as the staying power is obviously better.

Final Rating: 3/5
