Hey y’all! It’s product review time again!! I’ve been one lucky lady these past few months and have been able to participate in a variety of programs allowing me to test out complimentary products for reviews. This NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact comes courtesy of the Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox program.

NYC’s Take on their Product:

My Thoughts??

Pros: I really liked the compact. I received the Dark Shadows set and the colors are perfect for a smokey eye. It’s goof proof and has a plastic sleeve that tells you exactly where to place the shadow and even comes with a base primer and illuminator. I also like that this palette, and the NYC line in general, is super affordable! The included illuminator is great for highlighting your inner eye and really made my eyes pop!

SAMSUNG

Super cute right??? The primer/illuminators got a little dusty but nothing that can’t be wiped off.

SAMSUNG

Hightlight, All Over Lid, and Crease/Contour shades. Pretty smokey eye shades, perfect for a night out!

Cons:

The shadow can get a little messy, especially the dark ones. Applying the primer definitely helps it stay put but I found using my Too Faced Shadow Insurance helped the shadow adhere better than the included one. Without primer, the shadows dust away and wipe off rather easily.

Final Rating: 4/5

Affordable, nice range of shades for a smokey eye, and adorable packaging. Yes, the shadows can get messy and the primer isn’t top notch, but all in all I was rather pleased with this compact and would be interested in checking out more of the NYC line.
