One of the most under-rated drugstore beauty brands (imo) is Physician’s Formula. I usually score my PF products at CVS combining coupons and extra-bucks (their rewards card incentive). Today, I’m featuring 5 of my favorite products that I use together or with other products in my makeup bag.

First, my fave of the bunch. This is PF’s Organic Wear Bright Booster Oil Elixir. Retailing for $14-16 depending on which store you purchase at, this booster is seriously great for dry skin. It’s smooth going on and has a pleasant herbal scent. They tout 99.5% organic ingredients and it comes with a self-loading dropper to apply the product with. I’ve been using it for two weeks and I love how it’s smoothing out my skin-tone and making me look more radiant overall. I’ve used it under my makeup or under moisturizer at night before bed.

Next, we have PF RefreshMint Cucumber and Bamboo Eye De-PufferRetailing for $9.95, this is a cooling and refreshing way to treat your under-eyes. As an added tip, stick it in the fridge for an even more refreshing pick-me-up. Use it in conjunction with other eye-care products and have beautiful peepers!!

Third, we have PF Organic Wear BB Cream (pictured in the Light/Medium shade). Retails for $14.95-16.95 depending on stores. I actually really love this as a spot-concealer or for a day where I don’t want to wear makeup but my skin needs a little smoothing out. It only comes in two shades which is a bit of a bummer as I don’t feel like this shade completely matches me. However, it doesn’t cake and it doesn’t feel tacky.

Next up, we’ve got the PF InstaReady Face Primer which retails for $12.95 (currently on sale for $6.49 by clicking on the link). This face primer is sleek, smooth and I find it helps blur some of the fine lines on my skin. However, it doesn’t play well with some of my face moisturizers. I’ve noticed when I use my SPF cream that this primer tends to bead up on my skin and doesn’t glide on anymore. Because of this, this primer has become my “going-out at night” product as I don’t need to use SPF cream at night.

Last, but certainly not least, is the PF Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation (featured in the Light/Medium shade) which retails for $14.95. It seems a-lot darker in the bottle then it actually is. Again, one of the drawbacks of this product is that it only comes in 5 shades and (again) doesn’t seem to totally suit my skin tone. However, mine came with a fun little foundation brush (not shown) and actually works really well as a dark circle cover-up. It’s also buildable but be careful; for really dry skin it can tend to look cakey. A great way to avoid this is to make sure you moisturize really well and let it sink into your skin before applying this foundation. Also, I’ve found that if you slightly dampen a blender and apply it with that, you’ll get the more dewy look which will help combat any cakiness.

That’s it!! I’ve used many of their products but these are the ones currently featured in my arsenal. I would also like to state that I purchased all these products with my own money as wasn’t compensated or asked by Physician’s Formula to do this review. I was just in my bathroom cleaning and saw these and thought “hey… lets blog about these!”.

If you’d like to tell me what YOUR favorite PF product is, leave me some love. As always, stay beautiful!
