Flat irons, blow-dryers, and other hot tools should always be used in moderation. Heat damage, be it a few split ends or a straight-up fried mess, is inevitable. But come summertime, we’ve got to worry about that, in addition to the poofiness that occurs when attempting to maintain a hairstyle that requires daily touch-ups amidst the…

Hello lovely readers. Sorry for the abscence. I have been busy with life and getting my eBay store up and ready. Shameless plug but feel free to click here to check it out! It’s chock full of designer jeans, cute shirts, kid clothing and more… all for under retail value! =P
Anywho, with that being said.. a few weeks ago I was the lucky winner of Lucky Magazine LuckyBreaks contest!! I won a prize package totaled to be worth around $200!! Needless to say I was super stoked. One of the prizes I received was something I have never tried before called Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil.
Doesn’t it just look gorgeous!? I’ve never used dry oils before and was super excited to try this. It says multi-usuage so I used it on everything!! Hair, skin, cuticles, body, etc etc.
The smell is unlike anything I’ve ever smelled before. I can’t even begin to describe it to you but I shall try. To me, it smelled somewhat like coconut and sunscreen with floral undertones and a coffee note. Weird, I know. But honestly.. unless you use this.. you cannot even BEGIN to imagine the pleasantness of the smell. The bottle is gorgeous, sleek and luxurious and sexy. LOVE. The feel of it on the skin is amazing. It literally made my skin uber-soft and almost glowy! On hair, it felt silky as long as I didn’t overdo it and turn it into a giant greaseball.
Definitely pricey!! The size I received retails for about $45 but you *can* get a 1.7 oz bottle for around $29. The good thing about either sizes is that a little bit of oil really does go a looooooong way. Also, be careful when using multiple times. Since it’s an oil your hands will obviously be slick until it drys. Careful when picking up the bottle as it could easily slide out of your hands and break. *cry*.
Final Score: 5/5
Despite the price, I still firmly believe that while not the cheapest of dry oils out there, it is still a good value because you only need a little drop to get amazingly smooth skin. The smell is great, the bottle is sexy, and my skin has never felt smoother. Seriously in LOVE and definitely my product of the month.
For purchase, click here. Trust me, you won’t regret it!! If you have any other dry oil recommendations let me know in the comments. As always, stay beautiful!
I was all set to unveil the Target Beauty Box that I just got in the mail but alas.. my camera decided to be a putz!! So unfortunately, y’all beauties will have to wait tommorow for that. *le sigh*.
In other news, I will share with you the products I’m currently drooling over and hope to add to my arsenal soon!!

Happy December guys! I know I’ve been away for a few… so sorry! With the holiday’s coming up, I’ve been super busy prepping and planning. In addition to the usual festivities, my son’s FIRST birthday is in just a few short weeks so I’ve been eagerly attending to all the little details to his party as well. It’s been hectic but SOOO much fun. Can’t even believe my lil’ nugget is already going to be 1… *sniff sniff*.
Until I can get back to my more regular blogging routine, here’s a few things I’m wishing for this Christmas!
What are some of the things on YOUR wishlist this Holiday season? Leave me some love and let me know. Xoxo!
I have tried numerous beauty products over the years. Some have gone the way of the Dinosaurs while others have managed to stay in general rotation for various reasons. Here are some of my favorites.

What are some of your beauty bests and why? Would love to hear about them!

Now on to the product!!!
The Sundari Neem and Coconut Hair Oil Treatment claims that its great for sensitive scalps, hair loss and all hairtypes. Pretty hefty claims for a product. Does it live up to its end of the bargain?
The hair treatment oil definitely had a softening effect on my hair. In fact, after one use, I could immediately tell the difference. Where once my hair had been dry, unmanageable and a huge mess, now lays supple, silky, gorgeous hair. Seriously, NO JOKE. My hair has NEVER looked this good.
Granted, this picture doesn’t do my hair justice… but TRUST ME.. my hair looked and felt amazing. The scent, while strong, was rather pleasant. Frizz was minimized (an added perk?!), hair was shiny, and it didn’t irritate my scalp at all. As an additional bonus, I also love that this product isn’t tested on animals in any way!
The only problem I have with this product is the amount of time you have to wait before washing it out as well as the price. The sample packet I received says to wait at least 30 minutes (if not overnight) before rinsing. As a busy mom, I don’t necessarily have time to wait 30 minutes. Usually, I’m lucky to even grab a quick shower. But this is one of those products where the wait is actually worth it. Like I said… hair has never felt better.
The price, on the other hand…definitely doesn’t fit a new mom kind of budget. At $34, for a 3.4 oz bottle, its a little pricey. However, its definitely a splurge-worthy item and one that will be on my Christmas lists for years to come!
Final Score: 4/5
While the price and wait time were something I could live without, I don’t think my hair can live without this product. I’ve tried tons of hair masques, deep conditioners, oil treatments, etc and nothing has worked as well as Sundari’s Neem and Coconut Oil Treatment has. I highly recommend this product if you have seriously dry hair, damaged hair, or hair that just needs a healthy boost of shine. You will not be dissapointed.
