I was recently given the opportunity to try out a new Faux Lash kit from Kiss products. I’m fairly “noobish” when it comes to applying faux lashes but was excited to give it a go. Here’s what I thought about the Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit.
First, what the company has to say about their product:
About This Product
Made from highest quality human hair. Use with Kiss adhesive for optimal results. Latex free, odor free, waterproof, flexible formula for 24hr hold, easy applicator.
PROS: These lashes are super duper affordable and can be found at almost any major drugstore in town. They are suitable for contact wearers and I found that they didn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. The lashes FELT realistic enough and the color matched that of my own real lashes.
CONS: I am NOT adept at applying faux lashes, I admit it. Perhaps that is why I struggled so terribly with these. It took me four or five times before I finally was able to get one set of lashes on. Once applied, I thought that it looked rather “fake”. I tried blending them in more with my natural lashes but had to add two coats of mascara to make them resemble my natural ones.
FINAL RATING: 3/5
The affordability is a plus as is the wide availability of this product. If you’re adept at applying false lashes, I’d definitely recommend these for you. However, if you’re like me, it might be better to either have faux lashes applied professionally, invest in a really good volumizing and lengthing mascara, or just forgo the whole “faux lash” look to begin with.
All in all, it’s not a bad product. It’s just not for me!
