Thoughts guys? I love a good lip oil myself!!
No one has ever liked chapped lips. This might be a generalization, but for the most part no one opts for dry, cracking, uncomfortable lips when they could have soft, plush ones instead. Which is why lip balm has become a staple for just about everyone. MORE: Kourtney Kardashian Uses 3 Products Daily to Keep Her…
Today was my son’s third soccer game. It’s Peewee soccer so just imagine a group of 4 year old’s running around in circles chasing after a ball. Adorable. And the weather was gorgeous BUT hot!! To keep my skin from frying on the sidelines, here are a couple of my budget friendly items I keep in my bag on the regs.
This was probably, by far, the BEST item I received in my Ambassador Box ever!! I’m really into Pop and Pixi Beauty Products and I was so excited to be able to try out the Pop Brit Beauty Bag not only because the bag is so cute but also because the products are amazing!!
PROS: The amount of product you get is awesome! The bag itself, a cute mini liquid liner pen, a really pretty balm stain and a nicely sized eye shadow compact with subtly shimmery colors. The lip stain was subtle and oh-so-pretty!! I loved its color on my skin. The eye shadow colors are all so gorgeous and definitely tend to be more on the neutral side. The eyeliner itself is very nicely pigmented and easy to apply. I love how I can just throw my essentials in the Brit Bag and just go where I need to go. Totally convenient and love its portability.
CONS: Some may be a little wary of the price ($30) but honestly, I think it’s a bargain! You get so much makeup for that price that it really holds its value.
FINAL RATING: 5/5
Definitely worth getting. I really loved this kit oodles and oodles..!!

I was able to participate in another Bloom Ambassador Box where we were able to purchase products we wanted to experiment with. One of the products I chose was Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Bitten Berry. Here are my thoughts:
PROS: At first glance, it looks super dark in the tube. I was really nervous as I’m generally not a lip color person. However, once I applied this shade to my lips, it was super sheer with a rosy tint to it. I was pleasantly surprised I really loved how moisturizing it felt; not sticky or gooey and the staying power is amazing. It’s a jumbo sized balm so I have a feeling this will last me a good long while. I love that the shade really complimented my fair skin so I would definitely recommend this for fair-skinned people.
CONS: The price isn’t something I’d normally pay ($16) but if you’re looking for a good splurge-worthy lippie, this would definitely fit the bill. Also, if you’re looking for a darker shade, this isn’t as dark as you would think which could be off putting to some people.
FINAL RATING: 5/5
The price isn’t enough for me to necessarily mark it down a notch just because I could see myself buying this again once I run out. It’s the type of purchase I would feel confident in making because I know it looks good and isn’t a waste of money for me. The moisturizing qualities, the shade, and how it complements my skin-tone are all huge pluses for me. I would highly recommend this shade for any fair-skinned people in the market for a sheer yet pretty lip balm.

Hello lovelies! Another fun filled product review for your eyes to read. This time, I’m featuring Mor Lip Macaron in Rosebud. Read on to find out all the juicy pros/cons and final score!
The scent is subtle and not overtly sweet. The packaging is adorable and I love it’s portability. The color is subtle enough to enhance my natural lip shade and the consistency isn’t super sticky. I like that it contains beeswax and shea butter for added moisture.
Other than this scent currently being sold out, there are no cons I can think of!
Final Rating: 5/5
I liked that it wasn’t a cloying scent, nor too glossy or sticky. The subtle color really sold me as I’m not a “lip” person and normally don’t wear color on my lips. This was perfect for when I wanted a little color but in a natural sort of way. I like its compact size and I would definitely love to try all the different scents now!
If you haven’t ever tried a MOR product, I highly recommend picking up a Lip Macaron. You can get them here, for $10. Not to shabby!!

I’ll admit it… I’m a bit of a chapstick/lip balm junkie. I am constantly using them (and losing them) and so I’d like to consider myself a bit of an expert when it comes knowing which ones are the best. Here are my winners based of moisturizing abilities, price, staying power, and taste (because who doesn’t lick their lips wondering what their lipbalm tastes like? Don’t lie girls!!).
What have been some of your tried and true chapsticks or balms? I am always on the lookout for new chapsticks so any feedback would be appreciated. Have a beautiful day!

Due to a two week stay from my sister I’ve been a little insane over L’Oreal products. She brought down the most gorgeous eyeshadows from L’Oreal (and also gifted me one) that it made me curious to see what else I’ve been missing out on from this brand. These are all on my “I need, I want, I have to have” L’Oreal wishlist.

If you’re into bargain beauty products then you’ve probably heard of e.l.f cosmetics. They cater to women who need a beauty item on the cheap but that still does a quality job. I’m a huge fan of e.l.f. cosmetics and love that some of their most coveted items can now be found at Target as well as on their website.
The one item I’ve absolutely fallen in love with since recieving it as a gift one Christmas is their Soothing Lip Balm. The balm comes in four colors, all very sheer. I have Orange Creme which smells delish! Here are my thoughts on this balm.
1. For $1, you can’t beat it. I am a lip balm addict and am also constantly using (and losing) my balms like no tommorow. If I happen to accidently run this balm through the dryer, I know I can always pick up another one for a buck and not be out that much cash.
2. The softness is undeniable. My lips instantly felt smoother and softer. And my fiance even said they tasted good! Bonus points!
3. The formula didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I have super sensitive skin/lips and some balms irritate me. This one, infused with Shea butter and multiple vitamins, didn’t cause any unusual or harsh reactions in me which I appreciated.
1. Staying power was an issue. I felt like I had to constantly reapply to get that super smooth feeling back again. I probably had to reapply 6 or 7 times throughout a 12-14 hour period. I like balms that have a little more staying power than that.
2. Prices are great; but if you only want one item you pay almost $7 for shipping. And, since I live in California, not only do I have to wait 3-5 business days for my order to process, I also have to wait up to 10 additional business days for my items to actually make it to me once shipped out with Standard shipping. I love that Target has been carrying some of their items but they don’t always have this balm which is definitely not a plus.
So that’s my review. What’s been your experience with this balm or e.l.f. products in general? Leave me some love! Happy Tuesday! =)
