As part of my participation in the Influenster Holiday VoxBox Program, I received a sample packet of EBOOST’s Pink Lemonade to try out. I had previously never heard of this brand but was intrigued by the “natural, no crash” slogan they were touting around.
Here’s what EBOOST has to say about their product:
About This Product
Americans are busier than ever but we’ve relied on bad energy to keep up…until now.EBOOST is a boost that does more. It’s a mood boost, focus boost, natural boost, and a no-crash boost that also supports the normal function of the immune system.
EBOOST uses real ingredients, stuff you’ve heard of like Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Green Tea, Vitamin B-12 and Folic Acid. And the stuff you might not have heard of: Quercetin, 5-HTP, Resveratrol, Huperzine-A — it’s all good too. What could be sweeter than that? Well, we even sweeten our product with Stevia, a plant, not a chemical.
What started as a celebrity secret for A-Listers like Madonna, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey and Amar’e Stoudemire is now a necessity for the multi-tasking generation. We took the time to formulate a multi-purpose product that really works so you don’t have to waste time with mediocre products that sort of work.
Get your boost with the convenience of a shot, or an easy-to-mix powder packet in four delicious flavors: Super Berry, Orange, Pink Lemonade and Acai Pomegranate. No matter how you boost, you’re sure to feel great. All day, every day.
You can find EBOOST at Whole Foods Market, Vitamin Shoppe, Duane Reade, Equinox, 24h Fitness, local gourmet stores and natural markets, and at http://www.eboost.com.
And here are my thoughts:
PROS: I really liked the all natural, no crash benefit of this energy booster. It’s also chock full of vitamins that most of us don’t get enough of in our daily diets. I loved the Vitamin C and Folic Acid as I know I don’t get enough of these vitamins on a regular basis. I also really liked how it didn’t cause a crash a few hours later. My mood seemed to improve a bit and I wasn’t super shaky drinking it like I am with 5 Hour Energy and other similar products.
It’s definitely on the expensive side. You can buy it here
and select whether you want the energy shots, tablets, or the powder formula. Prices range from $15-200 depending on what package/bundle you choose. It is definitely not something I would buy for myself as I just can’t afford it.
The aftertaste of the powder was also something to get used to. It wasn’t particularly tasty but I disguised it by drinking juice quickly after which cut the aftertaste a bit.
FINAL RATING: 3/5 I liked the beneficail vitamins, the no crash, and the way it made me feel. I didn’t like the high price point or the aftertaste.
